The schedule is ready. English Premiership champions Chelsea have been handed a horrid draw for attempt to defend its title and press for a third successive crown.

Indeed, the release of the 2006/07 English Premier League draw gives the Blues a tough path at home, having to face Manchester United, Newcastle, Bolton, Arsenal and Everton in its final five encounters.

With Tottenham two weeks earlier, the "blues" must face second, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh placed clubs from last season in its final seven games.

However, an easier first four games including home fixtures against Manchester City and Charlton will help as they try to emulate last season's feat of winning its first nine games.
